"Overall great property. Loved the apartment, which was very modern and provided comfort. Great pool also. We had a few issues with checking in and keys, however, due to Marcelino’s (the doorman) help, consistent availability and strong sense of awareness he helped make the experience as smooth as possible and followed up with us."

"The staff was awesome. Condo was an easy 2 block walk to the historic district(square outside American Trade Hotel). Location looks a little scary, but we felt safe after going in and out a couple of times. We would definitely stay there again. "

"No Communication with Host. No access to property. Not even an address to go to. Just takes your money and leaves you stranded. Don't book VRBO ! They have 3 hour wait times ( your are calling from a different country) Promises you help and escalation that never comes. I don't even bother to write more since VRBO won't approve this review anyway."

"The property is not called New Modern Ocean View - very misleading for locating the complex. Local cab drivers or Uber drivers had difficulty finding it, the name of this property is HP Boutique Del Mar. The property is about two years old and is still going through growing pains.The property manager who has the office in the building speaks English and was a great help with issues we presented her with. "Big, clean, and modern apartment with a beautiful rooftop pool area. The building is in a poor neighborhood just two short blocks from Casco Viejo, but we loved the local feel and opportunity to see more of real Panama City living. It feels safe with a locked entrance to the building, friendly staff at the front desk all 24 hours, and also two or three police officers parked out front 24 hours a day. "If you are looking for a basic apartment with bare minimum, then this is great! It’s referenced as luxury, but there was a sheet on each bed, pillows were flat, only a couch for 2-3 ppl & dining chairs. The photos shows the unit well decorated, but it’s pretty bare upon arrival. The cleanliness also could be better. Parking was also tight, so smaller car recommended. Gave it 4 stars overall, as it was $79/ night when we rented. So got what we paid for."

"El apartamento y su ubicación, estuvieron excelentes. Al llegar, alrededor de las 7:00 pm, tuvimos que esperar casi media hora para que nos entregaran las llaves, pues no le habían indicado al fuardia de nuestra llegada. Observaciones en cuanto al mantenimiento del apartamento: la puerta de una de las 3 habitaciones, no se podía cerrar, pues el pomo estaba en mal estado. "We had an excellent stay at this property. Spacious, beautiful views and attentive host. The check-in process was smooth and the host was very timely with meeting us. Also, there was an issue with one of the A/C units during out stay and the host addressed it immediately! We had to extend a few times waiting on lost travel documents and were accommodated without issue. We would definitely stay here again, as well as other properties that are hosted by Tony. "No remote to turn off one bedroom a/c. (We couldn't use that bedroom., it was too cold), The unit needs some attention. Bare minimum in the kitchen for cooking. We liked that it was roomy and that there was a garage. Pool looked beautiful too."
