"Reception was kind and welcoming, but the room (Dolcetto) was very odd. Tried to find it charming, a long cave, but it's strange. The foot of the bed is right upon the curtains on the opposite wall. Sleep was the big problem. The room sits over the socializing courtyard and restaurant. The mild thump of music continued into the evening, followed after closing by voices laughing in the courtyard below the room. The drapes are too thin to block out the light in the courtyard. "There are hardly enough words to describe how wonderful our stay was at Moonfra. The property is located in a charming village outside of Asti, with many nearby villages with delicious restaurants serving piemontese cuisine. Chiara and her family could not be more welcoming and helpful. My only regret is that our stay was too short. We look forward to returning soon."
