"We had a very happy stay at this house in the country with our two friends. It is ideally located within an hour’s drive of interesting sites and historic towns. The place and its surroundings allowed us a restful and pleasant respite from our busier daytrips. The house was comfortable, beds were very good and the garden provided a peaceful setting with a choice of sitting and lounging areas. Louise was lovely, an excellent hostess who responded quickly to our questions and needs. "

"This house and adjacent apartment was perfect for a larger group. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. The property was lovely and has a spectacular pool. A few things to note. The house name is not a location on a map and if you use an app like Google then you must use the name on the wall outside the property. The hot water takes a very long time to get to the upper floor shower and it’s almost impossible to fill a hot bath. That’s to be expected in a house of this age and it’s well...

"Stayed here for 14 days. Generous space with lots of room for multiple guests. We didn't realize the villa was two separate units. This was unexpected as we thought there would be a central indoor staircase. We made it work but we did feel separate from each other. Eduardo brought us lovely treats from a local bakery a couple of times which was very kind. You definitely need a vehicle to stay here. While it says there are a few things in walking distance we felt the car was necessary....

"Chiara hosted our wedding weekend. I can not stress enough that pictures on here don't do the property justice. It is one of the most spectacular villas we have ever seen. "A wonderful place for a large family gathering in the hills of Tuscany. The view is stupendous and the setting is green and peaceful. Farmhouse feel and close to nature. So much to do in the area from small local Trattoria to Arezzo, Siena and Florence. The hosts, Giuseppe and Marina are friendly and helpful and even set up a Tuscan cooking evening for us. We had 20 family members from 9 months to 91 and all had a great time. Many happy memories."

We went to celebrate our 65th birthdays (delayed a couple years by Covid) with our 2 adult children, their spouses, and our 2-yr old grandson. "John & Dianne were utterly lovely and made every effort for us. The listing is very clear and if you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene valley, you couldn't do better. The track should be driven with care but after the first time accompanied by John, it's not too bad. I wouldn't bring a car with low clearance though.
