"Really enjoyed staying at one of the cabins at Convict Lake Resort! The whole area is so peaceful, and the cabin itself was beautiful and well-designed on the inside, with all the amenities we needed. The heating worked especially well (it was chilly out). The trails all around the property were great for walking the dog and getting some fresh air before going skiing, and Mammoth Mountain is only 15-20 min away."

"We’ve stayed here multiple times and tried a couple of different cabins. My only complaint will be the showers. They’re small. The water press is fantastic but awkward in such a small shower - especially for short people. But despite that, we’ll continue to stay because the cabins are always clean and the location is walking distance to the shops and brewery. You’ll enjoy your stay! "

"the property was great for the 3 adults we had traveling, clean, gorgeous views and good kitchen. The host is responsive and we had everything we needed. our only comment is the comfort of the couch. since our stay was in winter over xmas, we spent time indoors at night and the couch was not ideal for football and movie watching. "

"Our kids got us kayaks for our 60th birthdays. Now that my husband has caught up (hooray)we wanted a close /good location to take the kayaks out for the first time, walk to dinners in town and then enjoy mountain nights on a pourch. This cabin was just the place. It was clean, comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. We would stay again."

"This was a wonderful space to spend quality time with family. The space was generous for my sisters, grandma and mother and we all slept comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware essentials we needed and coffee! It also snowed on the 24th so it created a beautiful ambience for my family to enjoy. Definitely would recommend to others and would stay again. "

"Upon entry we were impressed with how clean the cabin was. The carpets, floors etc were very taken care of, no ick factor that typically comes with a vacation place. Plenty of space and beds to accommodate a larger group. Only one indoor bathroom unfortunately but in the summer months the basement/outdoor bathroom would be fine. We would certainly stay again. "

"Our family came from Hawaii for the holidays and they loved the location and the house. Well equipped, they loved the rec room and pool table. The owner was wonderful to work with - very accommodating and communicative. Thank you - we all enjoyed the holidays and were so thankful!"

"This is our 3rd stay every time this place is full of tranquility peace & nature sounds all day very nice to have coffee in the mornings take a hike allot squirrels moss pine cones very majestic place bbq grill and fire pit available for night time smores and bbq. "The owner, Michael, has the house dialed in when it comes to providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are 2 other houses on the property but it is still quiet & private. It was the perfect home base for our excursions. The town of Mariposa has lots of cool shops to explore & places to grab a bite. "

Biggest problem was it took 3 hours to get in because of bad codes for door entrance. Then bad lock box code. Finally when someone showed up they opened lock with a another code which they didn't give us!"
