"We were familiar with the area, and were fortunate to have great weather for March. Wawona is peaceful compared to Yosemite Valley. Since we knew that we brought all of own food along, otherwise it’s a distance to a restaurant. The kitchen is well equipped for food preparation. This is a lovely property for a family/friends gathering."

"This cabin felt about as close as you could stay in Yosemite Valley (unless you’re paying to stay in the lodges or camping). The proximity made it simpler to get to all of the nearby hikes and eateries in the valley. The cabin itself was perfect for our needs and we didn’t have any issues. It’s great for 1-2 adults! The manager, Annie, was amazing! She communicated with us every step of the way. Highly recommend! "

"This lovely little unit had everything I might have needed (including a full sized refrigerator), was spotlessly clean, and in a wonderful location: close to downtown and Hearst Castle but definitely out in nature. The views from the windows are gorgeous. I loved seeing the horses and Waffles the steer every morning. Joey was an excellent host and very responsive to any questions I had. I would definitely stay there again. "

The place is not 'updated' in the sense used by real estate listings, but things are in good condition. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware. I hope to rent it again."
