"The property was fit for purpose. We used it just to have a place to sleep and visit Freiburg and surroundings. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was very small for 2 people and their luggage (2 had fairly sizeable suitcases, since we were spending 3 weeks in Europe)."

"Wonderful stay.. this place has everything you need and more, even a Christmas tree. It was super clean, the kitchen was almost as stocked as at home complete with a spice rack and even board games for the family. 5+ stars.. The only one thing I could think it could use, is a measuring jug for cooking. "

Hot tub on the roof top was a lovely way to relax in the afternoon. Points to note are that it's a penthouse and there's no lift. "This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....

"Prachtige locatie voor magnifieke wandelingen. Het huisje heeft alles wat we nodig hebben maar niet voor de winter. Die verwarming met hout is echt niet gezond. het huis is een en al rook. Er komt rook uit in de living via die buizen. Die installatie moet nagekeken worden."
