"Do not be deceived by the common exterior, lobby, and landings. The rooms are modern, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was very communicative before our arrival, proving all the details we needed for arrival. Digital keys were convenient, as was the very reasonably-priced parking around the corner. In late March, Triberg was quite quiet with many restaurants closed, hence the 3-star review of surroundings. "

"Set in an isolated location in the Black Forest, this Guest House was one of the best we had ever stayed in. Yes, you need a car to find it, but its worth it. On arrival, the car park was full by locals who were using the restuarant that had an excellent reputation. Greeted by the owner who showed us to our room. It was very large and had a seating area and bedroom. The only critism I have was that there was no kettle, coffee etc. Would I recommend this Guest House, most definately."

"I did read mixed reviews on this property - however, if you are properly aware before you book, you will enjoy it. The gasthaus is separate from the pretty building with the restaurant in it. (About 200 yards downhill). You can park at no charge up behind the restaurant but then it is a hike to where your room is.
