"We had stayed at this location last September and enjoyed it so much that we returned this year for a longer stay of 16 days. Communication with the owner and her agent was easy and fast. We love the privacy and great views of the vineyards from the elevated location of the house. We watched the "vendage" (picking of the grapes), from the porch while enjoying an outdoor lunch. The house is well equipped with all the appliances and basic supplies provided. While it is a bit of a walk to the small town of Vacqueyras, it is an easy drive to supermarkets, restaurants, and neighbouring towns. There are great walks through the vineyards in the area."

"Small, but plenty of room for a couple, the property is set among the vines of Gigondas, in a quiet spot. The pool is great. We enjoyed our two weeks here."

"We had a lovely week in this house. Communications before our stay were clear & self check in easy. The house is very clean & comfortable with everything you could need. The pool & outside area are beautiful & much needed as we were lucky & had some hot sunny weather. You can walk into the village which has a bakery, shop, pizza takeaway/restaurant etc. Lots of places to visit around the area. I would definitely recommend a stay here."

"Great spot to enjoy the local towns and villages. Rasteau has picturesque views and walks with a small bar, bakery and during our stay in August, a fabulous weekly wine tasting, music and food event in the square. The house is a good size with ample garden, medium size pool and parking for 3 cars. The kitchen was slightly lacking in utensils and the cupboard doors have a nasty case of woodworm. Also, it was very hot during our stay and the small single AC unit on the stairs is not adequate to cool the house at all, especially the bedrooms. However, we had a wonderful holiday and Michele our host was helpful and always on hand."

"If you read the reviews, everything positive that was said is true. Literally set in the middle of a vineyard, this is the most quaint, rustic, and accommodating setting a group could hope for. The pool (which is shared with anyone who might be staying at the adjoining house) was a relief, as it was hot when we were there (June 15-28). Third floor bedroom was quite warm so make sure that you get the owners to look at it if it is not working when you get there. We enjoyed the terraced front patio for breakfasts and dinners/aperitifs. The grape vines gave cover from the sun, and the beautiful plants around it were in full bloom and lent amazing aromas. We enjoyed several dinners at the Café in Vacqueyras, and the boulangerie provided baguettes, croissants and espresso to keep us sustained in the mornings. There are more vineyards than you could ever visit in Vacqueyras and the surrounding towns, but you cannot miss a tasting at Clos de Caveau, which gets its grapes from, among other places, the plots surrounding the pool. Biking was essential to us and the surrounding roads, narrow as they are, offered incredible views of the Dentelles and surrounding vineyards. We did venture to Mont Ventoux, Sault, Châteauneuf de Pape and Marseille to explore, and emphasize the need to rent a car. Perrine and Julien were quickly responsive to every little issue we had pop up. Sunsets by the pool were breathtaking and not to be missed. Incroyable!! Thank you for sharing your home with us."

"The gravel road to the gite was awful. There was no welcome pack. The air conditioning had to be switched on by request. We had an ant incursion in the kitchen. The pool cleaner was left in the pool for 2 days making swimming difficult. Didn’t see Tiphaine during the stay - all contact was done remotely. However, the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the views were amazing"

"Lovely location. Good views and so close to so many great vineyards and villages. The pool was excellent and set below the house with trees for privacy from the road. Hosts Monique and her son Thierry were very friendly and hospitable. Thank you for a wonderful holiday."
