"We loved seeing all the beautiful sunrises over the bay, loved the closeness of restaurants and wineries and all the space to move around. Had a good selection of dishes for cooking. Just missing a cookie sheet. Would love to come back in summer to enjoy the patio area and be able to grill out.Would stay here again! "

"Booked the place for a long weekend with our family of 5. View and location was wonderful, ample room for all. Cleanliness was not up to our standards, however, particularly in the kitchen and one of the bed sheets appeared not to have been washed. What was the most disappointing however, was the fruit/crop flies in the kitchen. We are michiganders and are used to bugs however the kitchen was infested. We had a difficult time cooking and eating because of them. My kids were very happy to return...

"A beautiful comfortable home with everything you need for a weekend away. My kids loved the game basement with ping pong, darts, foosball, and a giant Jenga! Well-appointed kitchen, lovely living room and beautiful view of the grand traverse bay across the street. Would definitely come back! Only downside was some traffic noise, but easily solved with earplugs! "

"An ideal location for our extended weekend getaway. Only a short drive to Crystal Mountain for some winter activities. The hot tub on the back deck was used every night. It's great to have a place to stay where we could bring the family dog with us. Our host was wonderful, and we would stay there again."

"This house was perfect for our family of 5 (all adults), visiting for a family wedding in Traverse City. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space, with the bonus of a lovely hot tub out on the patio! It was also super convenient for picking people up at the airport - only a 2 minute drive!"

No complaints on the rooms except more closets would have been helpful since we were all going to a wedding and everyone had formal wear to hang up. "The location was awesome. Beautiful being on the river. Host was very helpful and made our kayaking experience fun. We enjoyed fishing even without success. Beds were comfy, may need new pillows on some. Very interesting furnishings. A bit of a museum, which we enjoyed. Could use a minimizing of things, but we loved the space and would definitely do it again. A lot of history here.💕"

Nearly 45 degrees inside the home when we checked in. Took hours to warm the home. Unable to communicate with anyone regarding any of these issues."

"Peaceful, the river is close and viewed out of every window. The hot tub was hot and ready; my dog and I had a wonderful long weekend, hiked the trails, enjoyed the snow, even made it to Sleeping Bear. "I booked the property for myself and my children and grandkids, along with my husband. We had children from 2–11, and several adults. I booked it for the location and being on a lake. My daughter got married in Suttons Bay on the 15th. The property (lake and exterior) was amazing and just perfect. The layout of the house itself was awesome, but extremely outdated, and dingy. "The pictures do not depict the condition of the furnishings and rooms. The chairs have tears, the washing machine was falling a part, the bedroom tv had no connection, messaged the host with no response. I hate to say it but it Was not worth the cost."
