"My husband has always wanted to visit Stacy/Sealevel area for fishing and the solitude of the area. The house was so cute, extremely clean, and well stocked. The yard was perfect for our lab and with no neighbors she was free to run, certainly a plus. Our only down side was that the water level was very low while we were there so no fishing from the dock; however, there were other spots nearby and we booked a charter out of Harker’s Island, which allowed us to take our dog, so hubby got to catch his fish. There is no grocery store nearby so be sure to stock up before you arrive. We did find a small grocery/hardware store in Harker's Island that had a good selection to stock us up. Also, bring bug spray, the horseflies are no joke! The owner was fantastic and responded to all our questions quickly. If you’re looking for a quiet, secluded space to unwind this is a great choice. "

"Nice cozy house in the village of Oriental. The house is conveniently located in the center of Oriental, and within walking distance to the restaurants and shops. The house has everything you will need for your stay, and is dog friendly! "

"We felt comfortable immediately upon arrival. The house is in a very quiet and picturesque location. We saw dolphins, spent hours on the dock fishing, and had a blast exploring the water on our personal paddle boards. The house was well stocked with cooking essentials and linens. Communication with the owner was seamless - they answered both of my questions within minutes. The house is about 30 minutes from takeout / grocery stores, so make sure to plan accordingly. We would recommend this place (and already have) to our friends and family. "

"The sun comes up in radiant orange. The home is warm with all the amenities. The Lowdermilks have expanded the yard behind the house and made it roomy entertainment for friends and visitors. Every thing about the cottage is readily available and "in its place". The only thing left to do is enjoy the ocean,the people and the serenity."
