"On the plus side, the staff was absolutely wonderful, the breakfast was good, and the pool and beach area was a wonderful place to relax. The room itself and bed was comfortable albeit a bit dated. I would definitely return again, perhaps with a bit more time to enjoy all of the beauty the area has to offer. On the less than positive side, the Movenpick was clearly a top tier property in its day, but it is still suffering from some adverse impacts from a cyclone a few years back. The beach...

"Resort was very clean, and the spa was amazing. We visited during the off season, so they seemed to be somewhat short staffed, and many amenities were closed. The lagoon and pools were great but there is very little beach access, and the beach is not the best for relaxing."

"Nice mini oasis in a desolate part of Moalboal! Very quiet, clean, and private with knowledgeable staff. Food options are limited but the main area is a 5-10 minute drive or 30 minute walk. Awesome diving for turtles, sardines and bioluminescence."
