"Staff were uniformly bright considerate helpful and courteous. General Manager Marcel from the Netherlands gave us much helpful advice about how to enjoy the area. He managed the staff in a quiet respectful manner which I am sure contributed to the latter’s kindness to the guests. "Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave. The only saving grace was the staff, who were friendly and helpful, but that does not make up for the dreadful conditions. I would never stay here again. Avoid this place unless...
