"Lily pad could be wonderful. Its setting is beautiful. I was really looking forward to staying. However the lodge is damp and the heating is wholly inadequate, the macerator in the shower room had leaked under the laminate floor and was still leaking on my arrival.The property was a health hazard. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room). "This is a lovely, spacious and well-appointed house. It was too hot to make best use of the duvets, but the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery - and a dishwasher to avoid the washing up. The powered recliners were especially welcome after a day of much walking. Naturally there is quite a lot of farm activity in the area, but it was far enough away not to be intrusive, and the people on the farm were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a property to remember."

"Great spot and rooms and well kept. We could hear people walking above our room and the carpet is not conducive for luggage. Staff are incredibly friwndly and helpful. "

"Plentiful parking in the main Raptor Foundation car park. Check in was easy, in the building which is also a gift shop. The room (room 3) was huge - microwave and fridge included. Bathroom was a wet room which I thought might be very cold but the room is centrally heated, including the bathroom. Shower isn’t very powerful but does the job.
