"Luckily we arrived in daylight, as the road up to the Osteria zig-zagged in impossible hairpins up from the valley. It's possible that after dark and unlit we might just have turned around and headed for somewhere flat. However, if we had done we would have missed a completely unique experience. The hamlet of Anzonico clings to the side of an Alp and there is no vehicle access to the Osteria. Parking is in a lay by about 50 yards further up. "Nice appartement, its very pretty and the kitchen is fully equiped. Well situated in the centre of Tegna, the children took the train to Locarno while we went hiking and climbing in Val Maggia. Only minus point is the church bells, (you are in the centre of town!) but you get used to them after a couple of days. "

"We had a wonderful stay in this house, beautiful decorations and layout of a really comfortable house for the four of us to relaxing. A small pretty village to walk around, and it isn’t far to drive to good restaurants and bars. The garden is beautiful and lovely with a really great pool, it’s not too far to walk up and down the hill to it… But make sure you take plenty of mosquito spray! Nice Place - could do with a SPA Massage Menu

"It's a very nice hotel however the location is not really pretty. It is next to the local train station which i very useful as the hotel provides a free public transport pass for the whole of the region. The hotel lacked a menu for massage services for the SPA, which was a bit disappointing. "

"I had a very pleasant experience staying at LUGANODANTE 2 years ago and looked forward to return there on this business trip. The room and bathroom were super clean, welcoming and comfortable with free coffee/tea, water and soft drinks in the minibar. There were ample outlets to connect my electronic devices. The buffet breakfast is copious and of high quality, using seasonal and sustainable ingredients. The reception staff is super friendly and helpful. One of the best part is the location, which is steps away from the funicular leading to the Lugano train station!"
