"My friend and I had an amazing trip while staying at the little pirate house. Its location was close enough to get to everything but off the path enough for privacy and quiet at night. We loved Monterosso and all of Cinque Terre and especially enjoyed learning how the history of the dates related to the property. "This property housed our group well. Lots of space and beds. We loved the location despite the stairs! The locked gate gave us added security as we were a group of women. We did use the washing machine and felt very Italian by hanging our laundry out to dry. It was right off the Cinque Terre Trail and close To the train station. One member of our group was very sad that the coffee maker didn’t work. Great stay at a great price "

We particularly enjoyed the location - close to the main square/beach/restaurants etc, but also it felt very 'Italian', it is a very pretty and historic part of town. The apartment itself is fine (it had not been cleaned when we got there, but perhaps we had got our timing confused). There were a few minor wear and tear issues (torn shower curtain etc), but overall it is a very functional and well equipped place - we were particularly grateful for the beach...
