"Loved the apartment. Clean, roomy, attractive, comfortable, everything worked. Terrace was excellent. Everything for an extended stay. Great quiet location, minutes from sites and eateries. Communication was excellent. Wine basket was a nice touch. Stairs were a bit of a challenge, but would not prevent me from looking to book this apartment again if I return to Carcassonne. "This property though simple was an excellent value. Rooms were clean. Parking was plentiful. Included breakfast was very good. Easy walk to the fortress. The only downside was the laundry. With only one machine with a very small drum and many long-term residents, I would not count on the machine's availability. If you need to do laundry, there is a very good commercial one about a half-mile from the hotel. "
