After booking a stay two months in advance, we were on the road to Paris when we received a notification that our reservation had been canceled. The host had double-booked the accommodation and, incredibly, failed to notice or resolve the issue until it was far too late.We were left stranded with no place to stay in Paris, forcing us to scramble for alternative accommodations at the last minute.
