"We really enjoyed our stay at this magnificent hotel. The staff and service is first class. The decor is the high end Sardi decor I was hoping to experience. Dinner at La Palma was superbe, not to mention the romantic ambiance and elegant decor. The daily breakfasts were a great way to start the day and were presented in such a fine fashion. "The Alma is in a great location, despite very few amenities. Beach is wonderful and an easy walk. Our stay was spoiled by apalling and loud music from the bar but blasted over the whole site - which consisted mainly of out of key solo singing and guitar over poor Pink Floyd backing tracks from about 6.00pm onwards, followed by dreadful karaoke from 9.00 to midnight. "Lovely setting and great pool and bar area. Ideally situated next to the beach. What let's the resort down is the poor breakfast and attitude of some of the staff. Seem reluctant to replenish food and juices. The head chef clearly has low standards about of food that is served. Room was ok and had a good bathroom. Walls are paper thin though. "
