"The property has not been maintained or checked for cleanliness prior to occupation. Mould on surface of dinner plates, bowls requiring cleaning prior to use. Strong odor of urine in living room, dank smell from kitchen drain, mold . At check-in we were told to purchase our own toilet paper! No paper towels either.Mosquito infested outdoor sitting area precluded its use and no screens on any windows or doors."

"We had a fantastic holiday! Our hosts were attentive, accommodating and engaged us in the local community. After a few hours we felt very much relaxed, welcomed and at home! It was brilliant swimmming everyday in the pool and the numerous sitting areas allowed you shade and/or panoramic sun! Our children loved the little river at the end of the lane and were mezmorised by the Dragonflies and lizards. The BBQ was brilliant and the local restaurants were fab! "Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Émilie dans cette charmante commune d'Asté. Le logement est conforme à sa description. On y est au calme et c'était un plaisir d'y passer ces quelques jours. Les activités autour d'Asté sont nombreuses. Nous avons pu profiter : - des grottes de Medous. - de balades autour du Tourmalet et du Chiroulet. Vraiment un super séjour ! Merci."

"We enjoyed our stay in this cute mountain cabin. The views were incredible and it was easy to find. The beds were comfortable, but be warned you need to bring your own sheets and towels, which is not made clear when you book. The floorboards are a little squeaky and there are no comfy chairs outside to sit and admire that gorgeous view from, but apart from that, it was very pleasant. The kitchen is well stocked and the place was immaculately clean. Philippe was a very welcoming host."

"6 of us stayed a week in late June. Ample space, 2 br and bath downstairs, open kitchen and reception room upstairs. Toilet upstairs. A car is necessary, as the village has no shops, just a bakery open daytime. The stairs are quite steep, but navigable, even by an elderly person with a recent hip fracture. The owners/hosts are charming, eager to help, and keep the pool and grounds very clean. Highly recommended."

"Our extended family group of 12 people stayed for five days in early September. We had a wonderful time. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful. The setting is idyllic with beautiful views of the surrounding hills and mountains. Lots of great outdoor activities for the kids, and great proximity to Lourdes, to spectacular mountain drives, and to some great hiking. We would definitely return!"

"This gorgeous country estate is even more beautiful than the pictures. Our family of 6 adults and one infant had loads of room, inside and out, and every comfort imaginable: super cozy bed linens, lots of soft towels and pool towels, a fully stocked kitchen - more than you could ever use, modern kitchen equipment, a sparkling clean pool every morning, groceries picked up and in the house before we even arrived. Christiane and John could not be kinder or more responsive. They made us feel so...
