The staff are all (and I mean all) friendly, personable and helpful. The rooms are luxurious, including the beds and washrooms, without being overly showy. The views overlooking the sea are stunning. Maratea itself is definitely a nice little town and Il Santavenere is a hidden gem in Basilicata. We're already planning our next trip back and can't wait to be there again!"

"Vittorio is super friendly, his place is modern and clean. He went out of his way to make our short stay very enjoyable by sending us to his friends' great beach club on the ocean across the street.
