The location is ideal - Castellina in Chianti, with good restaurants and a grocery store, is only 10 minutes down the road and major points of interest (Florence, Sienna, San Gigimiango) are all less than an hour away. "We stayed in one of the larger rooms that had a beautiful view out to the entrance road and out to the hills. Love the old world charm of the room and the property. It used to be a small village originally. Bed was comfortable. Shower was a claw foot tub with curtain. Only minor issue is we could hear guests outside in the courtyard when they were coming and going from the property when our window was open.
