"Beautiful stone home, built in 1780, lots of need for improvement. We were four adults, arrival was scheduled for 4:30 on Sunday. The host postponed our check-in until 7 pm. No rationale and no apology provided. This was problematic as we were not able to get dinner or groceries – restaurants opened in town at 7 pm. We were shocked to learn that the road to this house was a very steep, winding, unassumed - , basically dirt, grass, rocks for 10 minutes. A smaller vehicle would not be able to...

"Overall the house is lovely. We had an issue with ants in the bedrooms which saw us all sleep downstairs on our second night on sofas. But we were out most of the time. Was too late when we discovered the ants to call the owner. We also had an issue with them answering the phone. We had to call for an hour before someone picked up to let us into the villa.
