Not so typical Andalusian village - Castellar is built inside a castle. It was abandoned in the 70s by locals who went to live in a new town outside the castle walls. Later abandoned buildings were occupied by German hippies. Now the village inside the castle is populated mostly by expats, artists and retirees. The Best Of Best

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My room was very welcoming and I was delighted that i had nothing to complain about. I will say that this hotel presented a calming effect on me. The staff was very professional and are attentive the visitors. I totally enjoyed the food and my stay. I visited Rock of Gibraltar and that was the icing on this visit."
