"It was perfection! The most picturesque view! Kids (5 & 6 yrs) were able to easily walk down stairs to the beach and then catch the shuttle bus back up to the room. Lovely market next door (with the kindest staff) meant we could cook for the kids, get them to bed early and enjoy a bottle of wine and antipasto patter on the balcony in the evenings to soak up every minute with that view. Mauro and the housekeeping staff at Palazzo Margherita were so kind, helpful and hospitable. Worth the splurge...

"The apartment's location was a huge plus providing easy access to restaurants, grogeries, etc. Not a 5 minute walk from the train station and set back in a quiet location alond Sorrento's main artery Corso Italia. We were met at the train station by Gerrado who assisted us and oriented us to the apartment. The property was very clean and well organized. Two balconies! Great jumping off place for Path of the Gods, Pompeii and the Amalfi coast. When we return to Sorrento, we hope to stay again...

"Pros: Excellent location. Walk from accommodation to the pier to catch the hydrofoil to Capri took us 5min through the elevators (€1). The staff were extremely helpful, especially Alessandro who took the pains to show us where the parking garage was (€18/day) and recommended us great restaurants. They have Netflix!! Cons: The bathroom shower leaked at times and minor flooding occurs. The heater function could be better."

The lights and gaiety of the city were wonderful and it served as s great location for day trips to Pompei and Herculaneum. The apartment itself was a great location within easy walking distance to everything. The facilities were elegant and comfortable.
