There are great restaurants all around and it’s an easy drive to lots of other little towns, restaurants, and shops and wineries. We rented the entire property that offered needed air conditioning needed during a very hot spell and a perfectly refreshing pool. "We loved our very private three bedroom + three bath, two story apartment in this historic castle. It is spacious, beautifully furnished. And it has its own tower. The patio with arbor and view was a great place to dine. Staying here was a highlight of our trip. A good base from which to make day trips (Siena, Florence, Montepulciano).
