"We have stayed at many properties at different times but this was definitely the best. Huge house with great outdoor space and lovely pool. Rural but not too remote so there is stuff to do but the kids did not want to leave the pool! Francisca could not have been more helpful through the process. I can’t think of anything negative to say at all"

"It was nice to be away from the city but close to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores and many nearby towns to explore. The owners were very personable and helpful. We were given a list of delicious, favorite restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay here!"

"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

"The property was even better than expected, very spacious and well appointed kitchen, and the views spectacular! The short but steep walk down to the beach was excellent challenge to the fitness of the older members of the party. The heated pool was brilliant and compensated for the cooler misty air - this improved by mid afternoon and we enjoyed a couple of splendid sunsets. "

"Excellently located property just one block from the Rede Expresso bus terminal and walking distance everywhere, this made it easy to arrive and depart on public transportation, the beach and promenade with restaurants and shopping are only a few block away. Staff was very friendly, room was spacious and very well illuminated. We totally recommend the Villamar. "
