"Excellent property, far exceeded our expectations. We were upgraded to sea view room at arrival without even asking. The front desk staff, Ricardo, Ana and Ines were extremely polite and helpful. The staff arranged a boat tour of the coastline immediately upon our arrival so we could take advantage of the weather. "We loved it at Montesanto, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, we were there to celebrate my husband 50th birthday and they surprised him with a bottle of wine and cake. The facilities are very accessible for someone with difficulty with mobility for example, lift to the restaurant and pool and walkable paths around the property. We are definitely coming back!"

"This Property is the cleanest one we have seen... And we have seen alot.. Perfect location. Close to all amenities... Hotel rooms are small especially bathrooms.. they do need to refurbish bathrooms.. take out bathtubs and bidets and make more room.. Other than that Great!!"

"Perfect location with easy walking access to all. Theres a delicious inexpensive restaurant right across the street. Other restaurants you can walk to as well, and the town is perfect and not too crowded and overrun, like some of the other Algarve areas. The beach and Algar Seco are approx 10minutes walk away. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. the room has an air conditioning unit. Very nice terrace just outside the room. The room is Nicely updated and attractive looking....

"I didn’t realize that the property was far from the strip. Expedia said 18 min walk but the walk is down many streets. There are no restaurants nearby, we had to hop in the car to get anywhere. It was a close drive to carvoeiro downtown and a good location to do hiking but everything must be accessed with a car. "For the cheap price we paid, we were very pleased with our stay. Pros - spacious apartment, good shower, indoor and outdoor pools, basically equipped kitchen, kettle, hairdryer on request at reception, excellent maid service, fresh towels daily, shower gel and hand wash provided in bathroom, lots of drawers and cupboard space and hangers provided Cons - dated decor, sofa bed is not great even for 2 kids to sleep on, kitchen could have had some basics such as a scouring pad and washing liquid,...

"Visited in January 2025 which is the slow season for the Algarve. Quiet location in Carvoeiro with numerous shops and restaurants. During my stay there was maintenance being performed at the resort as well as various business in town. Property is clean and well maintained."
