"Happy with the overall stay, only bad thing was that I had no hot water the entire time I was there. Showers were the worst part of the day. "

"Beautiful property right on the beach. Generously-sized pool. Lots of room for our family of 10 to spread out. We sat pool-side and watched the parrots and vultures. Huge lizards and a tiny frog came by to visit. Our cook, Darling, prepared delicious meals. Lots of beans and rice and fresh tortillas. Mounds of fresh papayas, pineapples, etc. The waves are perfect! Big enough to be exciting, but safe enough for children and beginning surfers. A fabulous family vacation!"

"It was a beautiful home with a pool. We used the pool a lot. Plus, we were able to walk to different beaches that were beautiful. "

"My husband, daughter and her spouse, and our 16-year-old grandson and I found Villa Sol #1 an excellent landing spot for our first CR visit. The villa is just as advertised. The pictures are an accurate description. It's in a convenient location to Playa Hermosa and other national CR treasures. Anytime I had to communicate with the property manager, he replied quickly and did everything to make our stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend this location to others."

"We had a fantastic time during our stay at this VRBO. The location at the top of the hill provided majestic views and we basically had our own private infinity pool since everyone else used the pools by the restaurant. One of our most memorable experiences was chartering a fishing boat (through the resort) and then having the chef at the restaurant cook up our catch of the day. "We enjoyed the outdoor space in this house. The views were gorgeous. Other than sleeping in your bedroom, you do not use the inside space. Everything is dated and needs to be freshened up. Although the house was clean, it seemed dirty because it was dated- especially the kitchen. The bedrooms were fine to sleep in and had A/C. The rest of the house did not and was hot. "This home on Playa Potrero had everything we needed for our party of 13 adults and 4 boys, ages 5 to 8 to enjoy 8 days in Costa Rica. "We held our yoga retreat here, and everyone had an amazing time. Plenty of beds, and the house was beautiful. The Chefs were amazing and the cleaning ladies were very nice. It was a GREAT surprise when a lady came by, right after we arrived, stating that they offer massages out on the balcony and gave us their business card. Needless to say some got a massage Mon Wed and Fri. They were great! Highly recommend this home!"

"We loved our stay. Although we encountered an unusual storm it didn’t affect the stunning view. Excellent access to Playa Flamingo and Potrero beaches and activities. The home is modern and clean. Gorgeous. "

"The Host Ben is very responsive and kind. I wanted to experience living among the Ticos and we loved it. This place is unique and cozy for the 4 of us girls. There are some minor upgrades needed but we are so easygoing that it was not a bother. We survived a huge thunderstorm and no power for just a couple hours. The property has 2 cats. Also each bedroom has air conditioning and we enjoyed Netflix in the evening. This area is definitely a surf town and several restaurants walking distance....

"Beautiful site! Wonderful experience. Some of the rooms were far away from the main area but we lucked out and were very close. Staff friendly, fun, attentive. Made so many new friends. Dining menus signified foods containing gluten or dairy which I appreciated immensely."

"Surrounded by nature. Stayed in the Westin Club part of the resort. Nice adults only area pool with a dedicated restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Staff is friendly and attentive. Nice options for food and drink. Beautiful beach that is not very busy."
