"This hotel was super family friendly. So much to do for the kids including the pool, on site volleyball and a clean, close beach. Food was great. The location was the only downside. The roads to get there were not good and it took a long time to get to what looked like nearby attractions."

"Unbelievable property!!! A complete Oasis. Staff was incredible-Kaylin, Scarlet, Jeremy and Santi were attentive, kind and made me feel at home. My “tienda” was spotless and comfortable. I highly recommend this property for its tranquility and amazing pool area. You won’t be disappointed."

"Our group of 18 had an excellent stay the week that encompassed New Year's. The property is beautiful and very well maintained. Lani and Matt are responsive and helpful, but not at all intrusive. Would highly recommend for a large group that is looking to have the whole place, like we did. We did the breakfast and dinner package every day, which worked out well from a value perspective (and was tasty and great for socializing), but in retrospect I would have had us eat dinner in town a night...

"The only negative comment is that it shouldnt be allowed to safe chairs so early in the morning, not wven at 7 am cpuld we find chairs. Very annoyed at ttaveling with a fanily of 7 and 3 kids, its hard to gwt up 5 or 6am to go safe chairs. This was very inconvenient. Everything else was just fine. "

"Perfect for a stop before or after a flight. Booked and enjoyed a massage with just a couple hours notice. The food at the restaurant onsite was good. A nice variety of meals indicated GF which is great for a gluten free person like myself! "

Occidental Papagayo - Adults Only - All inclusive

"The property was very nice. The bed was comfortable and we had a very good view of the bay, which made our stay much better. If you wanted to do things on the bay, they suggested you to do so in the morning due to the wave in late morning. Food was okay, but some what limited since there were only 3 other locations and they could essentially be visited only once per stay. Other than that you had to eat at the buffet, which had limited selection. Overall, i would give this a rating of 3 stars. "
