Padaro Sands is a beautiful beach home located on the sand on Padaro Lane. The 2 bedrooms 3 baths gated house offers great ocean, coastal, and mountain views. It has a wonderful deck for entertaining, grilling, and watching sunsets and dolphins passing by! The master bedroom has a king bed, built-in closets, flat-screen TV, a work station that overlooks the ocean, and an en-suite bathroom. The Guest bedroom has a BRAND NEW QUEEN MATTRESS, flat-screen TV, and bath with jacuzzi tub and shower. The gourmet kitchen has all Viking and Bosch appliances, granite countertops, and a skylight to add lots of natural light. It is fully equipped for easy family meals. The living and dining rooms are well designed to enjoy plenty of space for relaxing and dining while offering commanding views of the Pacific Ocean. The living area is colorful and comfortable and is equipped with new TV, Blue Ray DVD, and Sonos Sound System. Wonderful home on the sand with the ocean as your backyard with a jacuzzi. Very nicely furnished with everything that you need. Relaxing and calming to get away from it all! We loved everything about this home and plan to return. Perfect Zen time :)

Love the beach!
Great little house for enjoying 24/7 ocean view and immediate access to the beach. We enjoyed the view, the sounds of the waves and weren't disturbed much by the freeway or nearby train tracks. Overall great vacation!

Great location right on the beach
We enjoyed our second visit to Padaro Sands and liked being right on the beach. The sounds of the ocean were very relaxing and the sunsets and sunrises beautiful. Nice layout of the house and we could see the ocean from the kitchen. Enjoyed going to Padaro Beach Grill for burgers/tacos/shakes nearby. We plan to come again.

Beautiful Beach Property
We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. It's small (two bedrooms), but for my wife and I it was perfect. It's finished out nicely and you can't beat the view. You should be aware that the beach at Santa Barbara has tiny tar balls. The property management company provides towelettes that make it easy to remove them. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house and view
This house is right on the beach and we loved everything about it. The Jacuzzi and the rest of the house were very clean. We enjoyed seeing dolphins and the stars at night. Kitchen was well stocked. We will definitely return as this house is closer to the ocean than the last house on Padaro Lane we stayed at.

Still our favorite!
Carpets in the rooms and the sofa appear dated with many stains (kind of gross to be honest) but you can’t beat the location and privacy. We are former Carp residents and we love this beach house. This was our 2nd visit. I would definitely recommend it.

The house is in a wonderful location, although the train can be loud at times. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and things to cook. I wish the windows looking out to the ocean were cleaner. Overall it was a great home.

Can’t wait to come back
Great property for a family of 4. Right on the beach. Home is well equipped inside (towels, kitchen utensils etc). Deck views are outstanding. Only hiccup was the cleanliness of the hot tub but the property manager communicated very quickly and tried to remedy it asap. We are former Carp residents and we can’t wait to come back to this home again! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Beautiful beach, beautiful home
This house is wonderful! The beach is small and quiet, the deck is perfectly situated to allow a view of children playing below. We saw dolphins and whales, enjoyed meals on the deck, soaked in the hot tub and took lots of walks down the beach. The only complaint is that the showers don't function very well but a minor inconvenience for all of the other fabulous features. Overall a wonderful vacation.

SUCH A BEAUTIFUL HOME
We stayed at this beautiful beachfront property with our two toddlers and we LOVED it. Direct access to the beach, the outdoor bathroom/shower to rinse the kids, and then warming them up in the hot tub. It was a perfect weekend. The home left no detail untouched, it was immaculate, and had all the amenities we could ask for. One thing I will elaborate on is that the front of the house has a bit of an area that the kids could also play in, which was very nice. The deck was large, the rooms great sized. It was wonderful. We will definitely stay here again.

Just OK but right on the ocean
Property is 40 feet from active railroad track! 100 feet from the freeway. However the sound of the ocean muffles the other sounds. Arrived to big dead rat in front yard! No face towels, only one roll of toilet paper and WIFI that is a joke. Now it is right on the ocean on an unrestrictive beach so dogs unleached or just about any thing goes! Close to small restaurants and nice little town, 10 miles south of Santa Barbara

The sound is not only the surf
Experience at this property truly is schizophrenic. If you enjoy private immediate access to the beach, this could be the place for you. Our two water dogs had a ball virtually undisturbed by the public. Great sand and easy surf. We also give an above average rating to the property management. HOWEVER, be aware that Highway 101 is quite close to the property, resulting in irritating traffic drone at all hours. There also is a commuter rail line that adds to the noise during the day. Furthermore, the bed in the second bedroom is an uncomfortable sleeper sofa.

Started Rough and Ended Well
I could say a lot about this property and about my stay, but will be brief. The bed linens and pillows are in dire need of updating and upgrading. I took everything off and was grateful that I brought my own. The sofa needs to be replaced as it is very uncomfortable unless you take off all cushions. Bring sleeping masks as both bedrooms are very bright in the morning. Kitchen is nice. View is lovely, of course. Funky house overall that needs work… please be aware that the public will be right out your front deck all day long. Lots of kids, dogs, umbrellas… but very quiet at night. Jacuzzi is nice.

Nice Getaway, not as restful as I hoped!
The beach house was lovely, with an upgraded kitchen. The deck was wonderful to enjoy the sun and surf, and the hot tub a nice place to relax. The TV and sound system didn't always want to cooperate. However, the location was ideal for good books and talking. The guest bedroom has a Murphy Bed, and was so uncomfortable, that my girlfriend tried to sleep on the couch. The mattress was hard and not accommodating. I would have expected a higher grade for the price, and was disappointed. We also had ants everywhere! They were even in the beds, which made for several bites and restless nights. My special weekend for my girlfriend's birthday was not as special as I had hoped, and for the amount I paid, I was hoping for a little better quality in the bedrooms.

Great little house..the way the management handled it not worth the money we paid
We paid almost $700 per night and found: •Carpets were filthy •no vacuum said motor was broken @ repair shop •2 rolls of toilet paper - no spares •chair upholstery needed cleaning • we had our dog with us and had the gate at the top of the deck closed so he didn't get out; the service people came for the hot tub and left the gate open-dog got out. Happened again when someone came. No paper napkins, no trash bags, no pepper, no batteries in the battery operated candles in living room, no channel. guide for direct tv; had to surf hundreds of channels just to find CNN,NBC etc. Unless someone just has to be at the beach and this is the only option, I suggest looking at options. The fee was 4 star+ . the service and quality maybe 2star. They probably should have put in their instructions "we don't do much; you're on your own.

Incredible Beach Property. Accessible management. Called at 12:30 AM when we arrived and got the answers we needed. Sent repairman for washer quickly. Offered to reimburse for my receipt for laundry- have not received the reimbursement yet. Other than the washer not working the 1st day, this was a vacation in Paradise. Stunning property and views. If I ever come back to California, I would love to stay here again. Copay enough good things.
