"We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together"

"You enter the property though an out-house at the end of a path. There’s no working outside light so, if you arrive late or like to go out on an evening take a torch. When we arrived, the bins were overflowing, and bags of rubbish had been piled up along the path. The outside area doesn’t get cleaned or maintained so, if you like al fresco dining you need a stiff brush and bucket of soapy water to clean away all the rotting fruit, leaves and debris. "The Reservoir View properties are all luxurious, beautifully styled and very comfortable, with all essential items provided. The Welcome Box contained lots of treats. A fabulous place for a short break. Communication with Sally, the owner, was excellent. The view over the reservoir is lovely and the walk into Pateley Bridge is great (though walking shoes are needed as it can get muddy)."
