"The hotel was excellent and Hiram took extra care to handle any issue we had. One thing that would stop us from coming back is not related to the property, but the frequent power outages that can interrupt any plans you make. This is just referring to The Pelican hotel Carolina Not the City Carolina itself. Though extremely affordable, the Pelican is NOT recommended for anyone to stay while on vacation unless you want bedbugs (not mosquitoes), stray cats and bird poop.
