"Playa Carrillo is a must daily walk and swimming.The time flew by quickly but have quality family memories.You’ll need at least 2 weeks to enjoy different beaches,rain forest & local nightlife."

"Central pool and rancho is the focal spot of the facility. Other guests/owners all very friendly. Moderate walk to beach. Unit is a little dated but all is adequate. A/C and WIFI worked well. Only small issue was the fridge is not balanced which caused a big wobble and difficulty opening"

"This is a lovely condo about five minutes from the beach in Samara. I recommend this if you want to be pampered and isolated from the town. It is a bit of an uphill hike and you may want to rent a golf cart. Great host!"

"This place was perfect, centrally located and had everything you need for vacation. We were concerned about the corner location on the busy road as mentioned in other reviews but it was absolutely fine. A little noise here and there but never woke us up or was a bother, rather it added to our experience of a bustling foreign getaway. We used a fan that drowned out 99% of the noise. Congo Lounge - amazing views and breezes, for all guests located on the fourth floor.

"This apartment and property are well cared for, secure and a short walk down a road to the beach. The apartment has gorgeous views in the main area and primary bed room. There is a river crossing from this section of the beach as well as it is a little far from the main section of town which is great if you want a quieter place to stay but does require a vehicle or quite a walk to get to the restaurants and shopping."

"The four of us- 2 adults and 2 kids- had a wonderful time! The condo was clean, cool and had a great kitchen. It was a short walk to the beach. We rented beech chairs, surf and boogie boards and a bike. The kids had a great time in the water. The turtle tour was amazing. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Le condo est très bien situé, très près de la plage. Il faut toutefois être en bonne condition de santé pour y monter car c’est abrupte. La vue y est magnifique et les fenêtres qui s’ouvrent nous permettent d’entendre la mer. La piscine est agréable et il y a des places à l’ombre. Le condo est très bien équipé! "

"I’ve stayed here before and I will be back in the future. The condos are beautiful and very large and the neighborhood is so peaceful. I love to walk around the area and see monkeys in the trees. My mini economy rental car had no trouble getting there in the heavy rain, which is rare in Costa Rica. Thanks for the great stay!"

"This is a nice, clean, quiet condo outside of town. You do have to be on top of it because ants will come if you leave a crumb out. The pool is quite nice and the view is beautiful. The water pressure isn’t great. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working when we arrived. The property manager got it fixed by the next day but it still wasn’t fast enough for my husband to take video calls (we are on an extended trip so he is working on the go). He booked a co working space downtown. We were doing language school...

"The property was just as expected. Beautiful, clean, with breathtaking! Maria made sure we had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was short and the beach was great. Walking to town was easy too. We thoroughly enjoyed it all."

"Excellent place! We were absolutely delighted to find this safe, well-appointed, beautifully-decorated room after a long days’ drive. Self check-in, after hours, was easy, and we found the lovely grounds and pool to be an oasis. We made our own simple dinner and had everything we needed to prepare it. Absolutely loved our stay here, and wish it were longer! We’ll be back! 💖"

"Location is right on the beach and next door to ond of Samara's best restaurants. Only 700 metres from the Samara downtown core. Rooms available with a ceiling fan or A/C (slight pricing differential for A/C). Breakfast included with each room. Family owned and operated. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Overnight security service keeps property safe and secure. Parking available on-site."

Loved It!!

"This place was amazing from the second we arrived. Staff person checking us in was polite, accommodating and made you feel like you were best friends. Because it’s a smaller hotel, we got to know all of the staff and they couldn’t have been nicer people! On site parking was easy. Location was quiet except for some road noise. Walking to Playa Samara beach was convenient and took less than 10 minutes down a dirt road. Room was large with a separate foyer area that had a sink and mini fridge. Pool is nice. Breakfast was good as were the drinks. We did not eat lunch or dinner so can’t comment on that. Three minute drive to Playa Carrillo - which is an amazing beach. Seven minute drive to downtown Samara. Nothing negative to say about this place - check it out!"

"This is a very small hotel on beautiful grounds with the ocean a couple minutes walk away. The staff is incredible and everyone knows you after a few days! Peaceful and relaxing. A car would have been helpful to get around. Food was very good and inexpensive. Absolutely delightful!"
