"Had a wonderful stay at Elaine's super clean cottage. Elaine is lovely, such a kind host. The place was ideal for myself and my daughter, great location, quiet and peaceful, with parking right outside. The king bed in the master bedroom was perfect and the single bed in the other bedroom was also comfortable. The bathroom had a shower over the bath, which had great water pressure and plentiful hot water. Everything we needed to make a meal was included in the kitchen, plenty of cupboard space,...

"The apartment was just as grand as the photos show. Nothing was overlooked and all very grand and opulent. The hosts have thought of everything to a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of glasses and crockery etc. Probably not child friendly with steep stairs leading up to the property and lots of low level delicate stained glass windows and internal glass doors. Would thoroughly recommend staying here for a special occasion! low level stained glass doors"

"The location was perfect for us and the furnishings were acceptable but sparse. 'The kitchen lacked tea towels; pot-holder/over mit; salad bowl; salad tongs; sharp knives for food preparation; mixing bowl; serving bowls; full-size casserole for oven; potato peeler and pitcher for serving beverages at the table. Th property was listed as sleeping 6 but there were only 4 dining chairs, 4 wine glasses and only 2 large tumblers. The unit was advertised as 3 bedrooms and 3 baths but it has only 3...

"The location is where we wanted due to location. However, the property was not setup for our group size. Having to play rock, paper, sizzors for who got a plate or fork was not enjoyable (we ended up buying our own to add to the property). I would say the kitchen lacked many elements. Overall the home felt a bit like the bachelor days of college with a random collection of barely hanging in there furniture items (careful on the chairs). Honestly if you don't have to be in Livingston pass on...

"The property is a short drive from Glasgow city centre, and close to the Fort Shopping centre- walking distance- which has all amenities. It is on a busy bus route, and they pass frequently at all times of the day. It is a good base, if you are exploring. It is ideal for a family, however it is a very small property for 8 people and the parking is for 2 small cars. The property was very clean and we had excellent communication with the owners."
