"this was a nice moderate hotel. The staff was lovely on check in and the room clean. The area is quite rough. Oil and Natural Gas odors fill the air and the other hotel clientele were roughnecks. We stayed on our way to Carlsbad. Nice eats at Adobe Rose. A bit noisy at night in the hotel. Glad I brought my white noise machine."

"Our extended family enjoyed 2 suites and everyone was comfortable and slept well. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The only issue we had was that our room was in need of tissues and more cups. I asked the front desk as we left for an outing to have the tissues and cups restocked in our room; however, they were not we made do, with what we had. "

"My experience was good overall as it has been the case since I started traveling to Carlsbad for business. This time around though, with the high winds and cold weather, I experienced a situation with my room 324. One of the window panels was loose and not sealing properly, I tried pushing it out to see if it was something correctable however, it's just sign of an outdated window. The cold air overpowered the A/C unit so, it was a cold couple of nights."
