"We absolutely loved our stay at the Thornwald Mansion. It is nicely secluded in a park yet you are within walking distance to Dickinson College and a shopping center. The property has outstanding amenities and the food selections at breakfast were delicious. The service exceeded our expectations. The room and the bed were comfortable and very quiet. This mansion went under fire and then was rebuilt by the current owner from the ground up paying attention to detail and preserving its history. The...

They provided a delicious breakfast every morning. Take advantage of the morning history lesson, we learned a good bit that was not communicated on the tour. The staff could not have been friendlier. "I loved that the home was built in the late 1700's and the decor and furnishing matched that era with the amenities from 2022. I also enjoyed walking around the area. I got a great several miles in walking up hills amongst the fall foliage. It was also very close to everything I needed to be in Mechanicsburg."
