"We were in transit after a very early morning arrival in Manaus. This was a hotel we chose just for one night and we could not have been more pleasantly surprised. Yes, this is a European budget chain so the rooms are tourist class, inexpensively but practically furnished, spartan, cozy/small. Think entry level cruise ship cabin. But they are efficient, and all our rooms were meticulously clean. Beds were comfortable and all linens immaculately clean and pressed. Towels and showers were spotless. We had 3 rooms next to each other each with a double bed, a small water closet, and a shower. They looked exactly like the hotel photos The efficient layout puts the shower door and sink in the room so the facilities are readily available for 2 to get ready simultaneously. We had no issues with noise from outside or in between.rooms and the hotel was busy. Big pleasant surprise was the included breakfast. By US standards this was a surprisingly generous breakfast buffet with many options and superb coffee. NOT corporate plastic-wrapped portion-controlled factory produced processed food breakfast. Real food: fresh baked goods, fresh cut fruit, fruit salad, hot and cold local specialties all displayed in a clean and modern setting with comfortable seating. Overall this hotel was impressive. I don't know if I could stay here for two weeks but for a brief stay, this Ibis Budget can't be beat for value. Would choose again."

"Nice area, close to the mall for dinner options and relatively safe. Functional gym which does the job, pool ok for a quick dip but nice to see sunset. Uber so cheap to get into the Teatro area is affordable. Graciously provided late checkout for free. Breakfast was brilliant and full of healthy choices. "

"Juma kabana is amazing. We had a great time as guests of norberto and franciley. Impeccable hospitality. The lodge has great wildlife aroud it. Very peaceful and teaming with great views. Norberto took us every day on jungle hikes boat rides and we saw many animals, reptiles during our trip. He is very skilled at spotting wildlife. The food was homecooked and delicious. Cant wait to go back "

"Loved the staff! We lived at the hotel for 20 days and everyone was very pleasing! The only down thing is that the rooms did not have cooktop and we were not allowed to get single duvets (I shared the room with my mom and my 2-year old son) because we had a king sized bed. Other than that, we enjoyed the experience in a whole and the breakfast was very diverse as well. The whole staff of the Manaus Hotéis Millennium deserves a raise. They are very nice and hard working people!"

"We stayed at the Amazon Arowana resort for three nights and enjoyed many adventures during our time there. While accommodations are rustic, the wifi and air conditioning worked well, keeping us connected and cool throughout our time there. Highlights included lunches and dinners of fish, pork, beef ribs, roasted vegetables, delicious black beans over rice, and a variety of other dishes, but, most notably, the boat tours and forest walk led by Thiago, an expert guide whose English was outstanding. With Thiago leading the way, we saw two species of river dolphin (pink and grey), innumerable bird species, turtles, caiman, sloths, two species of monkey, many species of fish that we’d only seen in tropical aquariums, and various lizards. We also went piranha fishing (catch and release, and came across a huge colony of leaf cutter ants, many different kinds of termite colonies, and…bats! Quite the wildlife bonanza. Thiago also introduce us to some of the locals from whom we learned much about life in the Amazon. Truly a wonderful trip."
