"My husband and I stayed at the Palazzo for 7 nights and had a wonderful experience throughout. Before we even arrived Salvatore was responsive with messages and arranging our late check in. "We booked very late on the day of our stay but managed to find this very reasonably priced room. Room was a bit on the small side but very well presented, really nice sheets, proper hotel towels, super shower and all very clean. Bed (and pillows) very comfy, although again, a bit in the small side. Good value for money and in a good location, easily accessible to the old town. "

After having to find an alternative hotel, I was offered a refund for the first night, along with an apology. At check out, it was also agreed not to charge. When I chased up credit from hotels.com, the hotel confirmed I stayed one less night than planned but refused to credit. Nice!"

"Sara and her husband were so very nice and helpful the home was spotless they left us five large bottles of water a bag of cookies, coffee herb tea everything you could really need. The real joy though was sitting on the absolutely beautiful patio deck overlooking the water, the sunsets were stunning. We only stayed for four nights but wish it had have been more, thank you so very much for the great memories we will remember for ever Peter and Sarah your new Canadian friends "
