We enjoyed the nearby town, castle, an Afternoon Tea in Port Meirion and a day trip up to Holyhead and Llandudno. "Myself, my daughter and our elderly dog stayed here for a week in early summer. A beautiful setting in an idyllic and peaceful location. The perfect place to get away from it all. The host met us when we arrived and had already got the fire going in the cottage. The accommodation was comfortable and our dog loved exploring outside. Walks around the lakes and woods straight from the door. Will definitely be returning Julie, Rebecca and Pip the pooch 🐶"

"Plenty of local walks requiring no vehicle once you have arrived. If you're looking for peace and tranquility, this is perfect. Open fire, cosy lounge and central heating as back up. Beautiful views from front windows of mountains. Remember to keep gate closed as local sheep are free to roam. This is our second visit and we're still discovering new walks and places of interest. Nature at it's best!!"

"Really enjoyed our stay in this lovely traditional cottage. The village is lovely, you can buy your essentials from the village shop (Post Office). The cottage is well situated within the village and there are lovely walks nearby. Although the weather was brilliant, the nights were getting chilly so we welcomed the log burner which kept us nice and cosy. The host was on hand with information about the area and advised us about the best places to visit in this beautiful part of the country....

"Wonderful location. The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything we needed apart from a tin opener. Some of the baking trays were well worn. The beds were extremely comfortable. Parking was an issue and on arrival in the village a very rude woman told us there was only parking for their guests and nowhere for anyone else. "
