"We were excited to ice fish the famed Chaumont Bay for trophy walleye. Unfortunately the fishing didn't go as planned. The house was great, very clean and comfortable for our group. "We had a 2 night stay at this property. The riverside deck is amazing. Overall it met our needs, but any longer would have been hard. First concern: Laundry. For 400 a night, there really should be an electric washer and electric dryer at this property. I say electric since the dryer listed on the comp is literally a wooden folding clothing rack in front of a heating vent- 😳😳 Second concern: The master bed is not level. This makes sleeping hard Third concern: Lighting is needed for the stairs...

The kitchen is well furnished with all the cookwear, pots and pans, dishes and silverware anyone could possibly want or need, Parking is available for a truck and a boat, in fact there’s room for two such rigs in the driveway. Kevin is a gracious host and was over quickly to help get the TV working (we’re technically challenged). We’ll be back!!"
