The staf were excellent, always friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. When we had a problem with the air-conditioning it was attended to immediately. We would stay there again. "

"We had a great stay here, very restful and peaceful. Our villa was quiet and perfect with an incredible view. Also incredibly spacious with a huge bathroom. Private beach access was amazing as well. It was the perfect place for our last few days in Thailand!"

"I can’t say enough about how wonderful our experience was at the Marriott Merlin Beach Resort. The staff are AMAZING. We absolutely loved being greeted with their warm smiles. They were extremely attentive to our needs during meals, sitting at the pool and at the beach by the Rum Shack. The resort is very nice and always clean. We opted for the all-inclusive package and were glad we did. The menus at the restaurants were pretty good and we always found something to our liking. If you are looking for a family getaway I would recommend this resort, but be aware it is a little off the beaten path. It is a short taxi or bus ride into Patong, but we didn’t feel the need to leave as all of what we needed was at the resort. There is even an elephant sanctuary only a 5 minute walk up the hill. We will definitely be returning."
