"Sanibel Island Beach Resort Checked all the boxes for our stay. It was easy to get to, and conveniently located on the beach so we could go out and collect shells anytime we liked. The staff was great, so helpful and friendly. They seemed like they were genuinely happy to be there. "The property was beautiful, very quiet and serene. The pools were wonderful (heated with one a "Serenity" pool). Three restaurants plus a pool bar and Starbucks plus a takeout pizza place. It's not fancy, just relaxing. Our room was nice with a balcony to view the sunsets. One negative was the "Red Tide" so there were tons of dead fish on the beach although the resort did try to clean them up from in front of the resort. Also, vacationers should be made aware of the daily "holds" put on...
