I liked how beautiful the courtyard was. The only problem was the shower leaked, but that will happen and cant be fixed unless staff are informed. I informed the front desk and they wrote a maintenance ticket right away which was very good service.

In our opinion this property has seen better days and a substantial up fit is needed. The hvac in our room did not have a working control that allowed for a temperature change and the room remained too cool. Also the door into the room did not fit tightly, allowing for too much flex and suggested a safety concern. Fortunately the lock held. Almost ironically, they charged an extra $50 for our 7 pound toy poodle while the other, much nicer hotels, that we stayed at on our trip charged nothing. We travel to Venice often but won’t stay here again.

We shopped around for hotels and this one was a fair price for the amenities. The pool was large. We ended up with a suite, which I was not expecting. It had a large living room with a pull-out sofa bed, which we did not use. Nice furnished kitchen. We only stayed for three nights but could have been comfortable for a month. We would stay there again, and probably will!

We were in Venice for a business mtg. I booked this "hotel" based on the convenience to our mtg and pictures from their website and that it was a "Ramada- Wyndham property. The young lady that checked us in was very friendly. The lobby was less than desirable but I let that go. We just traveled 6.5 hours with our 2 dogs and we were ready to call it a night. The grounds were trashy and yard waste was everywhere. The walkways and exterior of the " hotel" looked as tho it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. The doors were very dirty and scratched. The room itself was awful. If I wasn't so tired we would've left. The curtain was screwed to the door frame and torn in a few places. There was a "sheet" on top of the bed that was old,water stained and worn. The bathroom door frame was old and rusty but the bathroom itself was clean. The next morning we did their breakfast before we headed out. The dining room was dirty and the furniture looked like a rejected thrift store find. Dirty stained chairs and dirty chipped tables. The " hotel" is shaped like a U with the pool in the middle. There are rooms facing the pools that may be in better condition. The dog walk area had a poop station for easy pick up but the amount of dog crap was disgusting. It's very apparent that this property is not a priority to anyone.

I can only assume this place was new and fresh it was quite the place to be. Although it is not sparkly and shining like some places it's very clean and affordable staff is very friendly. The things I didn't like his neighborhood the people here are becoming so self-empt anymore they forgot what this town was supposed to be like
