"Insgesamt gesehen würden wir dieses Objekt nicht wieder buchen. Zwar schön in den toskanischen Hügeln eingebettet, ist das Objekt sowohl äußerlich als auch technisch in die Jahre gekommen. Zum Ende hin entdeckten wir dann auch noch Kakerlaken in der Küche. Und da war es bei den Damen ganz vorbei. Eine extrem sturzgefährdete Treppe im Obergeschoss ist fast schon als lebensgefährlich zu bezeichnen. Vermieter spricht nur italienisch und etwas französisch. Darauf sollte man sich einstellen. Der Pool...

"Het appartement waar wij in zaten was matig onderhouden, en niet uitgebreid geoutilleerd, maar de sfeer is bijzonder vriendelijk, de gastvrouw en -heer waren heel behulpzaam. Het zwembad is heel fijn en compleet met luchtbedden, ballen en badstoelen en tafels, met de mogelijkheid om in de schaduw te zitten. Al met al een prettig verblijf."

"Der vielversprechende erste Eindruck (Zufahrt und Lage) wurde leider recht schnell enttäuscht... Natürlich haben wir keine moderne Unterkunft erwartet - wir wollten ja auch den Charme eines toskanischen Bauernhauses. Allerdings hatten wir schon eine Unterkunft erwartet, die "in Schuss" gehalten wird und in der man sich wohl fühlen kann. Das innere des Anwesens wirkt insgesamt jedoch über Jahre heruntergekommen und wenig gepflegt; sogar die Fensterrahmen haben sich beim Öffnen und Schließen...

It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient.
