"The house is in excellent condition with the usual amenities plus a hot tub and multiple tv’s. We were a short walk or drive to the lake. Deer roamed the area and some of us were lucky enough to see a fox. No bad surprises as some rental homes have. We’re happy we chose this house."

The pool and hot tub were great options for relaxation, in addition to the bbq pit, fire pits, and multiple tables and chairs arranged around the quiet property. "We came to Canyon Lake for a wedding and this property was perfectly located to a lot of hot spots. It’s a cute spot. My only mild complaints were they could stand to replace the mattress (it’s very noisy and uncomfortable) and the shower pressure is extremely low. It made washing your hair quite difficult. "

"We enjoyed our stay at this property. My children were entertained with all the games upstairs and my husband and I had some peaceful relaxation on the porch enjoying nature and the many deer roaming the neighborhood. We found in the kitchen everything we needed for cooking meals as well. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place to getaway for quality family time and some rest and relaxation."

"From the horrible road to get to the property to the house not having internet (which we need for our business) or the water that smelled like sulphur, it was a big disappointment. The host Marilyn was very nice and communicated well, but the cottage is not worth the price they are asking. I couldn’t bathe, brush my teeth or even turn the water on because it smelled so bad. The property was cute but kind of dumpy and could use a deep clean. Won’t be going back."

"I initially looked at this place because it in a neighborhood I grew up in and is down the hill from my dad’s house. I wanted to be able to spend time with family but have a place to run to when I got tired of them. Lol. When I arrived I realized it is located right by the legendary spooky tree where the road forks around said tree and I was pretty excited. (It was spookier when there weren’t any houses in that area. "There was a couple things that could have been better. The 2nd floor was mostly humid at night, my toddler sweat so much those 2 nights. Pots and pans were worn out and scratched, if i had know i would have brought our own kitchen utensils. The beds were quite uncomfortable our backs were hurting. At the end we were to come home."

"Place is located in a great area quite and peaceful Only issue we had was AC didnt work properly but 4th July weekend there wasn’t any chance to get it fix in the short while we were there. Communication with owner is wonderful and very attentive and came with a solution that semi worked, but better than nothing. Other than that this place is what we expected and as showed online.
