"Room 10 - right by the office. Handy for car park to rear. Quite noisy when the office is busy. When I arrived the guy on the desk said 3 nights for 3 people (I corrected him - 2 nights for 1 person) I was then shown to a single room which I assume he hadn’t planned to give me. "My husband and I stayed here recently while visiting a friend who lives just a short walk away, and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed! The bed was a little more firm that we are used to, but that seems to be a common thing we encountered with UK beds, in general and is not a complaint about this establishment in any way. The owner was very helpful and pleasant, and we would definitely consider staying here again for future visits!"

"Host Deb was friendly but this did not compensate for a room and house that smelt stale- a mix of dog and cigarette smoke. Keeping the windows open meant lots of noise from the busy road. Shower tray was blocked. Doesn't offer actual breakfast (as advertised) but was offered some toast. Generally poor experience."

"We had to book at the last minute due to an emergency family vist in the area,Tracey who greeted us on a late arrival was very friendly and went out of her way to get us some food as the kitchen was closed when we arrived,it was much appreciated.lovely grounds to sit in on the outside and in.we had a dinner the next evening at Mickys dinner just 10 min up the road wich was recommended to us,nice friendly staff and nice food."
