"We visit annually since my brother lives and works in Decorah. Every time we visit we choose to stay here and love it. The home is comfortable, clean, and immaculate. There's more than enough space for our large group and to gather together for dinner and to just enjoy each other's company. The host is always prompt and responsive and very kind and thoughtful. "Great house. Ours second stay here. When we arrived, all of the towels were still in the washer to be washed. We washed and dried them and then distributed them between the bathrooms. The sliding door to the deck could use a curtain so the neighbors can’t see right into you and your family. Great house we will stay here again. "

"The owner contact through the VRBO text app was immediately responsive, as in, within seconds! The house was charming, cozy, roomy and well supplied. The price was perfect for our budget. We are a group of 8 retired women hikers so really enjoyed the massage chair downstairs at the end of the day! The chickens in the little coop were sweet and politely friendly and not noisy. So fun to visit every day. We didn't have time to gather and cook the few eggs offered up, but how wonderful to have...

"We came up for the weekend for our fanily reunion . The house is old & smells like an old house, which isn't a bad thing. The house was clean & tidy. We couldn't find the hot tub,but it was all good. We didn't spend much time at the house, except for sleeping & watching tv in the evening. Thank you for a pleasant stay."
