"All the staff were friendly and professional. They made it feel like home. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was super convenient. I loved their daily breakfast buffet which was included in hotel rate. Overall, this was a great hotel and I would love to come back when I visit Lucerne."

"Excellent facility. Nice staff, though my credit card was charged at check-in and again at checkout (reversed later that day). Excellent location, easy walk to train station. Particularly liked the classic bar. Would definitely stay again."

"This property was SO CUTE! The staff is so wonderful, and takes the time to make the stay special. The hotel itself has the cutest little vibe! The rooms are all a little different and have so many nice features to make traveling easy (cut out sections for luggage, large open floor space, etc). The beds are very comfortable. If you like boutique hotels, this one is a gem! "

"Had a wonderful experience at the hotel! The hotel manager, Bangin, was extremely kind, helpful, and very hospitable. The property is on a hill (10 min drive from train station) with a beautiful view of the lake."

"Interesting property with many retained aspects of the old prison. Rooms ate obviously small, with little storage, no hair driers etc. slightly disconcerting obscured glass loo and shower 'box' in the room. Great breakfast, with good choice. "

"Small hotel close to the train station and about an 8-10 minute walk to the old town. The “big room” was spacious with a nice sitting area. I saw the “medium room” and it was big enough for 2 people. You may hear trams go by but it’s not loud and frequent. The area around the hotel is great with several coffee shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again."

"This was an awesome hotel. 10' walk from train station and no stairs (however, there are cobblestones). The front desk staff were particularly awesome. I forget her name, but one of the ladies was so helpful when my husband needed some medical help. Very much appreciated! The only small negative is that the soap dispensers were VERY hard for me to squeeze (both shower & sink) to get soap dispensed - but I do have arthritis :( Other than that, don't hesitate to book these lovely, yet affordable...
