"Hotel location excellent - has bus stop right outside and close to supermarkets. Takes about 20mins to get into Geneva and same to get to the airport. Staff friendly and nice touch to see some games available, though we didn't make use of it. Room was spacious and clean, and well equipped, however, sofa bed mattress was a bit worn so felt lumpy. A couple of practical items though not show stoppers - shower screen not wide enough which meant water splashed to outside shower tray. Could do with...

"Indoor pool is very nice. Comfortable space with working kitchen. Quality/price value. Close to walk in vineyards and also to town/restaurants. Saturday market is amazing !"

"whatever you need is a bus trip away. Hotel provides a free city pass to facilitate. I recommend Balaxart, large shopping center with large grocery store and mall."

"Good place to stay, love the reception staff, all super nice and speak different languages. There was some working around the hotel, but they did their best to accommodate our request for a quiet room, even letting us enter the room before check-in time. Apart from one morning without water that the hotel quickly fixed, I couldn't fault anything. "Good location near train station, easy walk to old town. Mini-kitchen very helpful (esp. microwave fridge). WiFi was very weak (~3.5mps) -- we ended up using tourist data SIM chip on cell instead. Room slightly warm (~24.5C)... not certain if the room has decent AC or not (might simply have been switched off for the season)...could easily open windows with slight but not terrible train noise. Friendly staff."

"Huge room and very central, walkable to everything. Nice to have a kitchenette too after eating out so much on a long Europe trip. The room felt upscale and better than the photos!"

"Perfect location. Right outside the boarder of France and Switzerland. 30 second walk to the trams which takes you into Geneva Lake town in 10 minutes or smaller town a few stops away. Tram on the opposite side also takes you into France. Restaurants all around within 30 seconds or few mins walk. Property has a fridge and cooking equipment if you want a cheaper night in. Pharmacy nearby, mini grocery store. Safe to walk at night (I got home after 9pm and travelled alone). Lift access and clean...

"Was very nice Hostel and it was good because near to the Annemasse station 25- 30 min very easy to go to Geneva I enjoyed my holiday for that. Also, people are working in the hostel was very nice and helpful. "

"We had a pleasant two night stay at Auberge des Grands Bois. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It could have benefited from air conditioning but there was a Dyson Air Fan available and fortunately the weather was not too warm. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delivered to the room. "Clean tidy slight hiccup in owner being at another property soon fixed"

"Cheap and very basic. Handy to find somewhere for £60 a night that has a fridge, mini kitchen. Underground parking cost extra. Breakfast was basic, not much choice. Worst thing was that it’s right on top of railway lines and from about 5am onwards you hear a loud alarm going off (to warn of an oncoming train) followed by the thunderous noise of the train going past "

"It was off-season so hardly anyone was there. My room was terrific with a mini-sauna on the deck. Staff was very friendly. Easy walk into town with the plenty of dining options (during the season that is). A very nice place and a great stay. "
