"The best location, views and luxury room! Beds were SO comfy, room was HUGE and immaculate. Highly recommend over staying In Lucerne- website does not do this hotel justice. Only downside was no robes in room and my room was missing a coffee pot-our friends had both items in their room so probably a fluke! "

"Hotel has a good location. Was not too difficult to walk to from city bus line. Be aware that there is no elevator. You will have difficulty with the stairs if bringing heavy luggage. "

"The hostel is in a good location. Easy walk downhill to the ferry. Hostel also has a restaurant close to the ferry. Food there was very good and reasonable. The breakfast was very basic. The hostel needs to replace its towels and sheets. "

"We searched for a long time before we found this property. It is beautiful and charming. The food was excellent. This location is family owned. They were helpful and friendly. It was clean. The communication was excellent. If you have the opportunity to stay here take it! You won’t be disappointed. There were 3 couples in our party. "

"We stayed here for one night in a triple, which looked just like in the pictures. The room was fairly sparse with three twin beds, a tiny table and three stools, and a wardrobe. We came during the off-season when there were very few people in the hotel, so we had our hallway to ourselves. Each hallway is named after a different European country, with the individual rooms named after major cities, which fits into the theme of the European guesthouse. "We were there when most of the staff was on holiday. The remaining staff was very friendly and courteous. The small village of Oberbipp is absolutely wonderful with friendly people."
